Bought Candy for the first time in AGES!!!! anyway! I still find too sweet for my taste... but somehow, it was kind of a relief from all the high fash mags I normally buy.it was a fresh change...

BritPop on the Fili Airwaves.

gawd!! we're sooo far behind! anywhoo... It's their music and their "art" so whatevs! anyway, I couldn't help but notice that some of our fili bands are conjuring up music with obvious references from the Arctic monkeys, BAbyshambles, the libertines and some of the ol' brit lot... and it really makes me wonder, are we gonna have a major Brit boom here in las islas?! anyway, all of that music talk aside, what really made me do a post bout music is really 'bout how it afffects the local fashion scene, everyone knows music is a big catalyst on the local fashion scene, and while the rest of the "fashy trashy people" were wearing prep, and american street apparel, hailing the GAp, banana Republic, and Juicy Couture as couture (don't ask me why! we ethnics have a funny way of thinking ... fashionwise.), I was already shodding and swathing myself in skin tight balzers, feodras, skinnies, porkpies, brogues and all 'em retro doodads (scored 'em from my grampa...and granma!). looks like this fag is a 'lil ahead of the curve! ego stroking much!? totally...

Emotional purging, call it release... but whateves! I'm feeling a drift... I don't know if you're doing it on purpose or we're just really drifting apart unconsciously...Ijust wish you'd tell me if you know what it is, or if you're eeling it too. GAWD! I was watching Ftv (free promotional video streaming... pathetic fag can't even afford skycable platinum) and a video of the Burberry Prorsum homme fall 2008 collection came up... and to cut it short, I was completely appaled by what I saw! the collection was HOT don't get me wrong, but the models were clomping their way down the catwalk as if they had sticks up their arses!!! goodness me! why can't male models walk! it's a shame, Christopher Bailey should've just put it on NAtasha Poly and just sent her down the runway! god! why can't we have a male Natasha! anyway! love the collection, love the guys! hate, nope ABHOR the walk!

I feel like crap, I know I shouldn't be feeling like this... I have no right. but jealousy stabs harder and deeper than any machete. gawd! why do you have me in such shitty situation. Obssesions: PRE-FALL

okay, the pre fall collections came out eons ago, and this is uber late, but during those eons, miss fag was stuck in blogger limbo! so now I'm making up for lost updates! anywhoo, back to pre fall. ugh! it's just too too sad that we don't have fall here in the Philippines, and the only time I get to dress up in layers is during the occassional downpours that we get here. thank gawd for that! but I want more!!! I don't think occassional rainshowers would be reason enough to wear fur and elbow lenght gloves no?! hay! anyway... enough about ranting and back on the pre fall looks that made my heart flutter,

starting with Nina Ricci.

this is something that I can totally wear, even if I were stuck in this humid country, but I'm not exactly gaga over the necklace.

and onto Chanel, okay, I won't be wearing frills and ruffles, and definetly no skirts!!! but I would like to buy shiny hoisery... and black eyeliners will definetly be on my shopping list.

and Knits... gawd I love this dress... but the beehive maybe a little too trendy for the Phillies. Chloe's collection makes me want to scream "LA VIE BOHEME!"
I also love Missoni, it's the perfect marriage of dishabille and tailored. the model's messed up hair and the bare face is a nice contrast to the collection's well trimmed appeal. it also injects youthfulness to the collection. wearable to anyone, provided you have the budget and the legs for the looks. teehee!



Rachel Roy's collection has looks that are very Proenza and Vera. but it's still a collection worth your greens and plastics.

Speaking of Vera... vera's shilouettes were very lax and casual, with touches of glam, a slash of sequins here and a fur stole there were great accents that amps up the dressy appeal of fall dressing.

this makes me want to buy fur even if the temperature here is above boiling.
I'm a sucker for menswear inspired outfits. and this one from Calvin Klein is to die for. the slouch, the color palette is tres chic!

J'adore, J'adore Proenza! I love their collection! it makes me want to go all prissy and shit! this one's a hit for moi! loves it! the colors,

the composition, is sublime and pure perfection!
Burberry also tickled my fancy. the silhouettes were very Burberry but somehow, there's a feeling of new-ness to it. hmmm... I dunno what it is, but heck! the important thing is, we love it.

OKAY, this is the one that I'm talking about being too Proenza, I say it's the color, the gold beading and the safari inspired undertone of the outfit that makes it too familiar. no?! anyway, we still love it!
Balenciaga's pre fall collection is also another collection worth our plastics, too bad my trip to the states was cancelled (more about that later) otherwise, I wouldve spent all my pocket money on every Balenciaga item my dirt poor fingers could touch.

Nina Ricci's violet satin coat is also another inspiration worthy item for pre fall, I have this obssession bout colors and violets, plums and eggplants are a few of my must have hues for my next shopping spree. I'm thinking of maybe buying a jacket, tights, a tank or a pair of jeans in those colors.

so yeah, I've put on 2 inches around my waist and am now clockin' in at a ginormous 138 pounds, (damn! being hoest 'bout my weight is soooo hard!!!) blah blah blah, anywhoo, good news though, aside from the recent add ons on my frame, width-wise, I also added a few cms. on my height, (5 cms. to be exact!) I'm now 5'9, still puny considering that some of them gigantor glamazons of the catwalks towers in with their gangly 5'11 frame. ugh gawd! anywhoo, I joined in at Allure's total makeover thingy, you know, just so it can aid me on my never ending quest to become a size nadda! and I'm on my first week. monday satrted off pretty good with moi only consuming 117 cals. tuesday is somewhat of a let down coz I consumed 1000+ worth of cals.! and now let's just say I/m going to burn in fat hell for consuming more than what I weigh! hahaha,but the thing is I don't feel that bad about it, hmmm. I dunno... but hey! tomorrow's a new day and I'll probably be back to my usual eating habit eh?! anyway, sweeties, I just wanna blog about it, just because. so there!
