Virtual Closet: high street: Topshop

okay! we're feeling high street today, so I'm gonna post a TOPSHOP segment today m'kay?! anywhoo. topshop, along with Zara and Mango have always been my fail safe store, in case I'm in a fashion rut. so here's a 'lil tribute to Topshop. (I'll find Zara and Mango items online next time! *wink* )

I love this satchel, coz it's roomy, slouchy, and it kinda reminds me of Botkier. hmmm I dunno why but it really does! ahahhaha anywhoo! moving on too...

the trilby! I love hats like this! coz they're the only ones that looks okay on my head! hahahaha or anything oversized for that matter, coz otherwise I'd look like an egg! hahaha

and now sunnies! halloo! by now, you'd already know that I'm a sucker for frames! hahahaha and these one is no exception! hahaha love the red! and the white strips! LOVE IT MUY MUCHO!!!

and the scarf! I always add a scarf in my outfit if I wanna look euro-chic! and these ones I LIKEY LIKEY!!! I've poted them a 'lil earlier and I'm gonna post it again coz I still can't get over it! ahahahaha.

and UGH! the biker!!! I HAVE TO HAVE THIS!!! I'm gonna write Santa a letter this Christmas, and I'm gonna ask him for one of this along with a ton of other stuff! hahaha

I love a white tee! and the print or slogan is lovely!!! very, uhm groupie! hahahaha

and this one I like! work it like Kate Moss! high waisted jean shorts baby! hahaha! shatnte shante betch!

and lastly, the bootie! anyoe I know knows that I adore boots, come rain or shine, you'd see mee sashaying my tooshie in knee highs or ankles and this mid calf one is no exception! gotta get my hands on a good pair of mid calfs! these kinda reminds me of the Marc by Marc Jacobs on Teen Vogue's fashion ed for Sept. 2007.

and there you have it! Topshop purging! hahaha loves it! so sad the Topshops here in Manila are incomparable to those in the other countries. ugh! they don't even have Topshop Unique here! or Celia Britwell but whatevs! Singapore's only a few hours away! via plane of course! teehee!

And now it's time for this diva to shine! bwahaha! here's MY 'lil outfit! and as usual, a ton of blacks and whites and colbber full of Balenciagas! hahahahaha. I know, I'm starting to add color in my wardrobe, but black and white ensembles are just trademark GENO. and they suit the grey weather here in las islas. soo of we go to yet another black and white bonanza!

and now let's do bag! of course Balenciaga! this Balenciaga Clous bag I think would be another perfect GENO bag, besides the motorcycle bags of yore, of course. anywhoo! it has everything that a 'lil fag would want! the hard bling, the leather, and the color is soooo moi!

and now, a fave and a constan GENO item! the sunnies! and white wayfarers at that! hay! if you can recall, I've been posting wayfarers on my bloggie non stop! hahahaha I just love 'em to death! so what's another exposure no?! hahahaha don't kill 'em off just yet!
and now the scarf. I've been seeing a lot of this print on the necks of many a party goers here in the metro and in the srteet style blogs. so I want one! argh! can't find one though! I think I have to raid Osama's cave just so I can have one! teehee! ooh! thi one' s from Topshop. but hell! as usual, all the Topshop branches here in las islas are void of them! gaah!!

anywhoo! who doesn't love Tom Binns! and this one is just sooo me! ME LOVES IT MUCHO MUCHO! anywhoo... not much to say, so let's move on m'kay?!

here's a fresh brand that I just came across just recently! It's from Kosmetique Label. I think it's Japanese. and we love it! the asymetrical cut on the hem is very avant garde noh?! very me, in short! hahahahaha

and now the Lims. this one from 3.1 Phillip Lim, is sheer (pun inteded) perfection! loves it to death!perfect layering piece. this would completely tranform any blah outfit to fabulousity! and
lightness of the sheer fabric won't make you a sweaty betty, so that's good! who would want to be seen in horrid sweat patches anyway?!

and now the tee. WE LOVE SE BY CHLOE! I love it! owls may not be my calling but hey! they're cute! lovely no?! the birdskinda remind me of Masha T. hahahaha!

and the skinnies! gotta have 'em skinnies! and thee ones from Sass and Bide are an exceptional piece! it has a built in stirrup so it wont ride up mid ankle. and if you're like me who loves the sleek line a good skinny brings, then this one's perfect for you. only if you have the money beeyotch! hahaha otherwise hanggang pangarap na lang tayo! hahaha

and tantananaaaa! the coup de grace! Balenciaga' hockey boot from his fall 2007! loves it! loves it ti death! gaaah! I'd totally go down on anyone just so Ican have a pair of 'em killer shoes! hay!!! the cons of being poor! hahahaha anyway!

I could picture it now! me strolling round the pocked streets of the metro! trotting and sashaying my 'lil bootie up and down while listening full volume on my Ipod! ahhh! sweet sweet fantasy! anyway! hafta go! okay now! for this edition, be prepared for black, white and gray overload! miss emo has arrived! her ensemble anyway. anywhoo! here's a 'lil somethin' somethin that I think miss emo would love! teehee

The lockheart kelly bag, I dunno if miss emo is a a baghag, but, what the hey! I'm still the boss here! hahaha so let's give her a bag!

and of course, emos have to have their sunnies! this one from Chloe is everything a shady person would love. it's dark, oversized and hard.
oooh! and we love Ann Demeulemeester! and I know for a fact that Miss Emo loves stripes! and black and white are, you guessed it! her faves! so I guess this one's perfect for her.



and the skinnies! I love this pair from Topshop! the "wet" jeans is a nice contrast to the matte texture of the cotton top. love, love it!

the tee! this one from Topshop is perfection! I love the faded vintage-y print on this one. plus, c'mon the chipmunk's cute!!! hahahaha.

and now a bit of designer clothing. this gorgeous skinny jean is by Stella Mccartney, queen eco of the fashion biz! they're gorgeous and they're organic! and I thought, organic is only associated with the edibles! ahahaha I dunno if her mala palo palo na legs would do justice to miss McCartney's jeans! hahaha kiddin'! love yah saliva boy!

and now for the quirky topper! the Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats! lovely noh?!I did'nt expected that I'd fall for a rodent! hahaha anywhooo! this I think would inject humor in my 'lil ensemble for 'lil miss saliva boy, which in turn would be perfect for her, coz it would totally match her personality! lovely!

here's one for miss Turtle! miss "girly-girl-color-a -gaga" betch! hahaha anywhoo! color is minimal in this outfit, a 'lil more grown up than her usual quirky rainbow brite ensembles. sort of my idea of miss turtle post college! so here we go! as usual the bag first!...

and here we have the VBH maila in golden croco leather! lovely noh?! anywhoo... this was once included in Time's most covetable things of 200(?) whatevs! ahahahaha I forgot! so we likey likey!

and then Kenneth Jay Lane! I love it! the strawberry pendant still gives that youthful vibe ( albeit a 'lil last season ) which we love!
and now a fierce dress from Jay Ahr. I love the bubble-ish volume on the hem of this dress! makes you look like you have drinking straws for legs! hahahaha not that miss turtle needs it! ahahaha anywhoo we love this dress noo?!

and finally, the shoes! this pair here is from Olivia Morris. we love it! the ribbon detail is girly, but not " in your face " girly. and we love gold. it would work for winter ( as if! hahaha ), spring, summer, and fall.

here's another outfit for another miss thang! hahaha! miss cheeky!!! hahahaha anywhoo! I can totally see her in a dress lounging away in the warm sunlight! a perfect match for her sunny (?!) personality ahahaha the Hamptons perhaps!? hahaha Libre mangarap bakla! hahaha anyway! let's do bag! ...

and this Louis Vuitton Rivett bag is perfect for this pristine ensemble. nice eh?! I love, love love this bag! the rivets add edge and spunk to an otherwise plain bag!

now, let's do accessories! we're feeling gold for her, coz I think gold adds warmth to the complexion. this CC skye gold cuff would be perfect for miss Cheeky, coz it still has that youthness to it. so me likey likey! ahahaha

and the dress! we'll do Catherine Malandrino for her! this one from miss Malandrino is very figure flattering, not that miss Cheeky needs it! she already has a body Marilyn Monroe would die for! so I think this is perfection for miss Cheeky. haha. ooh! and this dress has that vava voom but in a clean, pristine kinda way no?! kinda like Miss monroe's white dress in a barbeque picnic.

and last but not the least, the shoe! hmmm. quite off eh?! but what the hell! let's go all out! hahahaha! this quirky shoe from Louis Vuitton would add the perfect coquettish glamour in this 'lil ensemble. plus I love the flash of puple and gold in the heel!

Okay dearies! time for another game of make believe! haha the difference on this one though is that, I don't have ME on mind, but a friend of mine. you know who you are betch! ahahahaha. I dunno but I envision her in an outfit similar as this one! hay nako bakla! kelangan na natin makahanap ng D.O.M. hahahahaha. anywhoo! I just wanna unleash my inner Rachel Zoe. I swear to God! I'm gonna be as famous as her and as rich as that raisin faced skeletor! hahahahaha anywhoo! we're all about love here! and we love Rachel zoe. blaaah! okay, back to the outfit!

as usual, let's all satrt with the bag. and who wouldn't go down on their garandfathers with this baggie! A croco Birkin from the house of Hermes. and mind you dearies, this isn't any 'ol croco birkin. If you look closer, you'll see that the buckle and the padlock is covered in diamonds. yup yup! ba ba bling!!! the price on this baby though is too obscene for words. but what the heck! what's $120,000 ayt?! ahahahaha anyway, sunnies. sunnies will and sunnies do make an outfit special. I dunno, but a good pair of sunnies always adds the right amount of oomph in an outfit. and these ones from Ksubi ( although plain) is perfect for my 'lil ensemble.
and now the top! a simple white tee would do. like this one from James Perse, the lightness of the fabric and the simplicity would balance a tougher bottom or accessory. and I know for a fact that 'lil miss thang appreciates the beauty of minimalism and simplicity. don't underestimate the power of a white tee y'all. paired with other fabulousities, you'd see that this simple top is not just for bed and for layering.


ooh! here y'all is an amazing skirt from Msr. Alessandro Dell'Acqua. and Miss thang LOOVES PENCIL SKIRTS! and this I think would suit her 'lil pettite, lithe body.

and the finisher, is this gorgeous peep toe pumps from Guissepe Zannotti. Loves it! It's classic and timeless in black!
